Happy Birthday America!
Great Memories are not Planned, They are Created Unexpectedly
Yesterday we celebrated the Forth of July with food, family, fun and fireworks. We played and ate well! We smoked brisket, added Asian pasta salad, baked potato and cheese casserole, homemade baked beans, watermelon, some great appetizers.
Great food mixed with the Smalt family meant we had a lot to celebrate this Forth of July!
The day was shared by five of Steve’s kids and their spouses, 14 of his grand-kids, Grandma Smalt, Uncle Jeff, Cousin Megan and her sweet baby Walker. Alexa, my daughter, her step-sister and friend Samantha, Steve’s nephew Brad and his wife Christy. We missed you David, Stephanie and family and TJ!
Memories are not Planned They are Created Unexpectedly
Sharing a meal and a story is what I am about and the reason I am driven to write this blog. My dream is to bring family and friends together to create memories one meal at a time.
I invite you to put down your phone, invite your children into the kitchen to prepare a meal and sit down as a family to share a meal and talk.
